Mission and Statement

The ISA Education Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation formed to promote the advancement of education related to personal property appraising, to provide instruction and training of individuals for improving their appraisal skills, and to provide instruction to the public on personal property appraising and related subjects.

Governed by a nine member board of directors, the Foundation is a separate corporate entity from its parent organization, the International Society of Appraisers. The Foundation was established in 2002.

Currently the ISA Education Foundation has two primary annual activities; the issuance of scholarships for individuals interested in personal property appraising and the staging of the Annual Fun’d Auction as a funding source for the awarded scholarships.
