Foundation for Appraisal Education

The Foundation for Appraisal Education is for you!

If you are an appraiser or seeking to become one, we can help provide scholarships to appraisal courses given by many different associations and educational institutions around the country. This includes courses provided by The International Society of Appraisers, the Appraisers Association of America, and the American Society of Appraisers.

If you are a person who may use the services of an appraiser in the future, we want to help you know what to seek, for the public has a right to expect a certain level of competence and integrity. We plan on providing public opportunities to that end.

If you are an associate in a related profession we will provide information that might be of mutual interest, including the issuance of an annual journal on appraisal issues.

If you are a group or foundation seeking to fund consumer safety and protection, we may be a target for your grants and programs. These will be turned into opportunities to make the profession and our clients better informed and educationally current.

The Foundation seeks to raise money through various activities including auctions, our Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies, grants, memorials, pledges, and gifts. Donations are tax deductible.

We are governed by a nine-member board and have our offices in San Antonio, Texas.
